ITINERARY
  • Day 1: Las Vegas, Death Valley and Bakersfield
    After a quick orientation with your CEO in the morning, the group will leave Las Vegas and travel to Death Valley. The hottest, driest, and lowest national park in the nation will be your destination. Visits to Bathwater Basin and Zabriskie Point will give you a sense of the stark difference between the landscapes in Death Valley, which is a place of extremes. Find out about the mining of borax, and if you have time, visit the sand dunes. In the evening, check into your Bakersfield hotel and get some rest in preparation for your excursion tomorrow.

  • Day 2: Sequoia National Park
    Spend the day travelling to Sequoia National Park, which is home to massive, age-old trees and granite cliffs. Once you are there, go for a quick afternoon hike to explore and marvel at the world's tallest trees. After dusk, check into the motel in Visalia. If the sky is clear, go outdoors and observe the stars; you won't be disappointed.

  • Spend a whole day hiking in the park to fully immerse yourself in Sequoia. To observe the 83 m (275 ft) tallest tree in the world, proceed a half-mile down to General Sherman. To observe more of these enormous trees, take the Congress Trail through the Giant Forest. Head up the 2-mile round-trip Buena Vista Peak trailhead for 360-degree vistas of the High Sierra and the valley below.

  • Day 4: Yosemite National Park
    Resuming your journey, head north across the Sierras to the Mariposa Grove and Yosemite National Park's south entrance. After entering the park, stop at Tunnel View to admire well-known landmarks like Half Dome, El Capitan, and Bridal veil Fall.

  • Day 5: Yosemite National Park
    Today, it's all about getting outside and discovering Yosemite's sceneries. Take the park shuttle system to one of the most famous trails in the park from the valley level. Hike alongside the Merced River while getting misted by Vernal Fall's water to ascend the Mist Trail. Before crossing the river and ascending the stairs to Nevada Fall, see the water pouring over the cliff. Views of the High Sierra, including Half Dome, Liberty Cap, and Mount Broderick, can be had from the summit.

    Later, take advantage of the free time to explore the Lower Yosemite Fall Trail and Bridal veil Fall Trail, unwind in front of Half Dome or El Capitan's soaring granite monoliths, or rent bikes to explore the valley.

      Panoramic vistas, gushing waterfalls, and elusive wildlife await. Bring water, wear a hat and sunscreen, and hike Yosemite NP. Keep an eye out for black bears, deer, and coyotes.
  • Day 6: Yosemite National Park/San Francisco
    Early in the morning, depart Yosemite, and go to San Francisco with the group by driving through the Central Valley. Arrive in the late afternoon and take some time to independently explore the city. You have the evening in San Francisco to spend anyway you like. Explore well-known monuments, seek out some trendy new eateries to try, or decide to go to dinner with your CEO to review the trip and share anecdotes.

Visit Cannery Row to look around art galleries and various boutique stores, stroll down to Old Fisherman's Wharf, or go to the Monterey Aquarium.
